Monday Newsmaker: Bill Young and Veterans East Access Program work to help vets
The Desert Sun, May 28, 2012 by Desert Sun Editorial Board

Bill Young, a retired Air Force major, and his wife Deanna have served more than six years on the advisory board for the Cathedral City Corps of the Salvation Army. They helped develop a unique program designed to help veterans obtain their benefits called the Veterans Easy Access Program (VEAP).

VEAP includes some 100 organizations that assist veterans in a variety of ways. It will present the third annual Veterans Expo in October.
