Description

This is an overview of how open textbooks expand access to education but need to be accessible in order to usable by all learners. College Open Textbooks in partnership with Virtual Ability evaluated 60 open textbooks for adherence to the WCAG 2.0 POUR Accessibility standards and finding from that study are presented along with recommendations for colleges and authors on how to design in accessibility and mobility to server the needs of learners regardless of disability.
