Two years ago, LBUSD Superintendent Chris Steinhauser, LBCC President Eloy Ortiz Oakley and CSULB President F. King Alexander signed the Long Beach College Promise and committed their institutions to providing local students the opportunity to pursue and succeed in higher education. On March 19, 2010 the three education leaders presented a progress report on the accomplishments to date and announced several important developments regarding scholarships designed to help students reach their goals.
