Description

oin The Center's Community Coordinator, Michelle Pacansky-Brock (@brocansky), for a conversation with Catherine Hillman and Nita Gopal about how to harness the potential of Twitter to improve student engagement and prepare students for 21st century success. Catherine will share a fabulous teaching activity from her Social Media Marketing class called Follow Fifty, which challenges students to curate their own personal learning network of subject matter experts and learn from them. Nita will share a quick and practical way she integrate Twitter into her English class to connect her students in a dialogue with an author, making a reading assignment become relevant and spurring engaging classroom conversation.
