The Epidemiology and Prevention of Vaccine-Preventable Diseases is a series of satellite broadcasts that originally aired in the spring, 2001. This series provides the most current information available in the constantly changing field of immunization. Topics include:
- Feb. 20, 9:00 a.m. = 12:30 p.m. PT pertussis, poliomyelitis, haemophilus influenzae type b, and pneumococcal disease of children
- Feb. 27, 9:00 a.m. = 12:30 p.m. PT measles, rubella, varicella, vaccine safety, and vaccine storage and handling
- Mar. 6, 9:00 a.m. - =2:30 p.m. PT hepatitis B, hepatitis A, influenza, and pneumococcal disease of adults
