Understanding Emerging Wireless Technologies, Avoiding the ´Quicksand' of the Options, Part II
Explore wireless technologies that are available to educators both inside and out of the classroom. The focus of this session is upon the identification of realistic and practical limits for the use of wireless networking to support instructional programs, especially in extending learning beyond the classroom walls.

Windows XP Digital Media, Part I: Scanning
In this four-part workshop you will receive a tour of the Windows XP operating system. You will learn how to acquire, save and organize digital media and also distribute digital class materials, including pictures, voice, music and videos. Discussions will include the use of Media Player, Sound Recorder, Movie Maker, PowerPoint and Producer.

Integrating Instructional Technology
Adrienne Akinsete, Dean of Instructional Technology and Learning Resources at Evergreen Valley College, and @ONE Project Director John Whitmer will present various models of providing professional development for California community College faculty and staff. Next, faculty will converse on how they are using web based tools to extend instruction beyond the classroom, and finally, the impact of instructional technology on student learning will be examined.
