NASA Langley's Office of Education designs this eleven part series for educators, parents and lifelong learners. This informative program builds on the premise that much of NASA's aeronautical research focuses on creating today's knowledge to solve tomorrow's problems.

Photoshop ­ Video Retouching and Rotoscoping
The study of digital imaging and editing with Adobe Photoshop for visual, pictorial and graphic use in all media. Emphasis on creating and enhancing imagery for effective use in mass communication.

Linux, Parts 1 & 2
This twelve part series introduces the microcomputer operating system. The student will become familiar with basic features, file and program management, disk management commands and menus.

  • Windows (Pentium), Macintosh (G3 or better)
  • 32 Mb RAM (64 Mb highly recommended)
  • Internet access with at least a 56K modem (ideally DSL, cable, T1 or above)
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer v. 5.5 or higher
    (it's recommended you download the newest version for a better experience)
  • Windows Media Player (v. 6.4 or higher)
  • Sound card
  • Speakers or headphones
