Exploring Combination Therapies in Bipolar Disorder
Clinicians need the most current information of combination therapies in order to provide the best possible treatment options for their patients. This program will discuss the shortcomings of using one therapy in many patients with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. It will identify combination therapies that have been shown to have efficacy in the acute and maintenance phase of bipolar disorder.

Part 1
This program contains two scenarios involving the emergency management of ill and injured special needs children. It also discusses the correct management of a child on a home apnea monitor.

The program starts with a simulation showing EMS management of a traumatized special needs child. The second part of the video looks at the role of EMS in caring for children with central lines. Lactation and Contraception
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has recommended that all infants receive breast milk exclusively for up to age 6 months and to continue breastfeeding for a minimum of 12 months. This program will address how Reproductive Health Care professionals can encourage breastfeeding while effectively meeting the contraceptive needs of their clients.

Managing the Older Adult with Psychosis and Agitation Dilemnas in Dementia Care
This program will describe the prevalence, characteristics and impact of psychosis and agitated behavior in elderly patients with cognitive impairment, focusing on dementia. It will explain the role of antipsychotic agents for managing psychotic and behavioral symptoms associated with dementia. And, this program will discuss the role of family members as surrogate decision-makers for elderly patients with moderate to severe cognitive disorders.
