This program will provide the most current information available in the constantly changing field of immunization. Session Two will cover pertussis, pneumococcal disease (childhood), polio, and Hib.

Life-Long Treatment Strategies for Schizophrenia
This program is designed for Physicians, Pharmacists, Nurses, and Psychologists. Content will include:Maintenance drug treatment for patients with Schizophrenia, psychopharmacological treatments currently approved for maintenance therapy, and side-effect profiles on life-long treatment therapies.

Home health aides must be aware of infections including Hepatitis, Tuberculosis and SARS. This program provides the basic principles of infection control and their application in the home care setting.

This program is designed for Physicians, Pharmacists, Nurses, and Psychologists. Content will include: Differentiating the symptoms of bipolar depression from unipolar depression, and examining the efficacies and risks of FDA-approved medications for bipolar disorder.

This program is intended for Primary care and family physicians, endocrinologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, dietitians, health psychologists, exercise specialists, social workers and other health care professionals who care for people with or at risk for diabetes.

This conference will assist health care providers and others in screening for STD's/HIV; identify infection trends; and develop the skills necessary to provide pre- and post-test prevention counseling.

This conference will share information about the importance of physical activity and good nutrition in decreasing chronic disease. Resources will be presented that may assist communities in increasing physical activity.
