Lactation and Contraception
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has recommended that all infants receive breast milk exclusively for up to age 6 months and to continue breastfeeding for a minimum of 12 months. This program will address how Reproductive Health Care professionals can encourage breastfeeding while effectively meeting the contraceptive needs of their clients.

These patients are often in need of antipsychotic, and an awareness of the prospective risks vs. benefits is essential for the treating clinician.
