Integrating Instructional Technology
Adrienne Akinsete, Dean of Instructional Technology and Learning Resources at Evergreen Valley College, and @ONE Project Director John Whitmer will present various models of providing professional development for California community College faculty and staff. Next, faculty will converse on how they are using web based tools to extend instruction beyond the classroom, and finally, the impact of instructional technology on student learning will be examined.

This program features educators and community leaders who are dedicated to ensuring that all children have a chance to learn and explore the arts. We will discuss the following new wireless standards: wireless protocols (IEEE-802.11g, 802.11i, and 802.16); security options, including WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access), EAP2 (Extensible Application Protocol), VPN (Virtual Private Networks), EAP/TLS (EAP/Transport Layer Security); and authentication options, including Kerberos, LEAP (Lightweight EAP) with a RADIUS (Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service), Certificate Servers, and IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems).
