Whether you use K-9s for narcotics, patrol, school resource support or homeland security detail, this training telecast will help you get the most out of your dog or the K-9 unit assigned to assist your agency. "Marijuana: Reading the Smoke Signals"
Presented by: The Multi-Jurisdictional Counter Drug Task Force Training Program
Pot, pop, herb, weed, grass, boom… just some of the street names for marijuana, the most frequently-used illegal drug in the United States. Millions of people try it for the first time each year and most of them don’t know the risks. Despite what you may think, marijuana is far from harmless. It has permanent health effects, impairs driving, and kills motivation. During the hour-long broadcast of Marijuana: Reading the Smoke Signals, we’ll look at all these problems and more. We’ll also learn what often works to keep kids away from drugs in the first place. Law enforcement officers will discover how to spot marijuana use and marijuana grows. The marijuana of today isn’t the pot you think it is. |
