Public Health and the Uninsured
Nearly 50 million Americans are without health insurance. This broadcast will focus on the relationship between living without health insurance and the burden placed on public health systems to meet the needs of the uninsured. A history of health care and health insurance will be presented to help viewers understand "how we got into this mess in the first place."
