2nd Annual Student Film and Video Festival Awards

Watch the live broadcast (or visit CCCSAT's website May 4th for the link to the webcast) of the much-anticipated awards announcement for the 2nd Annual Student Film and Video Festival presented by 3C Media Solutions (formerly known as CCCSAT). The nine contest categories include: News Programs; News Packages; Features and Magazines; Sports; Documentaries and Interviews; Commercials, Promos and PSAs; Music, Variety and Specialty; Animation and Graphics; and Short Film. In addition, the entry receiving the highest points will be awarded a “Best Of Show” recognition. A panel consisting of both faculty and students served as judges for the event. The first place winners in each category will receive an Avid Media Composer software. The winner of the Short Film category will win a four-week 16 mm rental package from Panavision, and the entry for "Best of Show" will receive a software editing package from Avid, along with production elements from Killer Tracks and a sound effects package from Hollywood Edge. The contest, which was open to all California Community Colleges students, received 174 entries from 26 of the 109 community colleges; participation in the contest more than tripled this year.
