Every community college and district office in the CCC system is equipped with 3C Media Solutions’s satellite downlink, thus connecting roughly 2.6 million students and 85,000 faculty and staff throughout the state of California. Expansion for 3CTV remains unrestricted, anyone with appropriate downlink equipment can receive 3CTV programming. |

| Why do I lose signal in a rain or snow storm? |
It is normal for signal loss to occur temporarily during a heavy downpour. If signal loss occurs during a snow storm check and see if the dish is clear of snow and ice. |
| Does the new receive site certification fee apply only to new sites that are not community colleges? |
The certification fee applies to new applicants only. All community colleges have an existing satellite receive system, and therefore will not be charged the fee. |
| Is the set-up fee a one time charge or applied each time a program is broadcast? |
Each program distribution and re-broadcast has a cost to it; the set-up fee applies to each time the program is aired. |
