The 3C Streaming Solution
The 3C Streaming solution allows faculty and staff of the CCC System server space (a 3C Media account) to house media files FREE OF CHARGE. We support Windows Media Player (wmv) file format only.*
Account Holder Benefits
When you create an account with 3C Media for Streaming Solutions you receive the following:
• login, password;
• storage space on the server; and
• “url” to use for file access.
The media files are housed at Palomar College and are accessed by the account holder through their “url.”
Requesting an Account
It’s easy to request a 3C Streaming account! We just need a few basic things and you’ll be on your way. Click here for the online form.
Getting Started
After submitting the form, you will receive an email response to your request within five (5) working days. For more information on creating streaming media, click here.
Keep Going
Accounts are reviewed annually for usage (in January). Individuals with inactive accounts will be contacted to determine continuation of service. Please help us to always find you! If you have changes to your contact information, click here to update your information.
Recommendations
We strongly recommend that you keep a copy of all your media files locally on your computer and/or disk. Though we don't anticipate any problems, in the unexpected event of an issue, you need to have a backed up copy locally.
