Effective July 31, 2010, high quality MPEG 2 video from 3C Media Solutions is no longer available by satellite, but by the MPEG 2 over IP Multicast Video Stream. If your campus regularly uses or distributes 3CTV programming over your local area network, closed circuit television, or local community cablecast system, please contact us immediately to coordinate shipment of a new Amino 130 IP video set-top-box receiver (STB) to you and assistance with configuring your campus IT network to receive the 3CTV MPEG 2 multicast video stream. The Amino 130 STB receiver replaces your Motorola 4200, Motorola 406 and Scientific Atlanta D9834 satellite receiver by receiving video programming over your IP network. Prior to shipping the Amino 130 STB receivers, 3C Media Solutions needs to gather some information about your site and how you would like the receiver addressed on your campus network. Please contact Phillip Cerda and Connie Rodriguez by e-mailing pcerda@palomar.edu; crodriguez@palomar.edu regarding follow-up questions and to schedule shipment of a receiver for your community college campus. Sincerely,
