The Peralta Colleges recently was awarded a $3.6 million dollar grant, part of a 15 million dollar Trade Adjustment Assistance Grant from the Obama Administration.

As part of the announcement Congresswoman Barbara Lee made a visit to Laney College and Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis visited Berkeley City College.
