OMGoodness...What's all the hype about collaboration, shared documents, and Google? Don't we get enough of Google with its search tools? This is not a session on Google search. Instead, we'll tour real course assignments that use GoogleApps for online students' independent and collaborative work, using cloud-based documents, spreadsheets and forms, presentations, and ePortfolios. We'll examine the plusses (and some minuses) from the instructor's viewpoint. Finally, we'll play with strategies for "scaling up" on GoogleApps in your own courses. PS...examples have been built in courses that are intent on teaching content and skills, not "just technology."
