Needing to win to get into the Big West Conference Tournament, the 49ers fell 1-0 in double overtime to Cal State Northridge in their final regular season game Sunday afternoon at George Allen Field. It was the third double overtime conference loss at home this season and the first time Long Beach State will miss the Big West Conference Tournament since 2009.
