Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals have been traditionally underrepresented and underutilized in the STEM workforce. This presentation introduces DeafTEC, a new NSF National Center, that serves as a resource for high school teachers, college faculty, and employers with the goal of successfully integrating deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals into the workplace in skilled technician jobs.
