What can I do if I am having trouble with a video?


We want to know if you are having problems viewing videos on TechConnect Cloud (3C Media Solutions). You can submit a support request to support@ccctechconnect.org

Please include a link to the video you are having a problem with, as well as the instructor name, the class and the school.

Additionally, please let us know what device you are using, as well as your operating system, browser, and what kind of internet connection you are using. More information can be found on our TechConnect HelpDesk.


How can I get my own TechConnect Cloud (3C Media Solutions) account?


Registration for your own TechConnect Cloud (3C Media Solutions) account is available from the website, the link, "Register", is in the upper right corner of the home page. Simply click on that, enter your name, email address, and college, and your account will be created within minutes. You will receive an email confirmation with login instructions immediately.

The message “Could not load plugins: File not found” is displayed instead of the video.


This could be an error with your browser.
An error like this seems to indicate that a suitable plugin was not located to handle the playback in your browser.

You can try and update your browser, flash or silverlight plugins or try another browser.
 


What are the copyright rules for uploading files to TechConnect Cloud (3C Media Solutions)?


Due to the amount of videos TechConnect Cloud (3C Media Solutions) receives, it is fully the responsibility of the user to know and comply with all applicable copyright laws before uploading a video.


What can I do with my TechConnect Cloud (3C Media Solutions) account?


 Included in a TechConnect Cloud (3C Media Solutions) account is:

  • A private account with personalized login/ password
  • The ability to upload and store your videos to the 3C servers
  • The ability to integrate your videos that are already available on YouTube to 3C
  • The ability to create your own playlists and folders (either for public sharing or for private use)
  • And much more!

What is the fee for having a TechConnect Cloud (3C Media Solutions) account?


There is no fee to have or use your TechConnect Cloud (3C Media Solutions) account. It’s FREE. The service is funded by a grant from the California Community Colleges Chancellors Office.


Who can get a TechConnect Cloud (3C Media Solutions) account?


At this time, faculty and staff of the California Community Colleges system can request and receive a TechConnect Cloud (3C Media Solutions) account with upload privileges. Students of the California Community Colleges system can request and receive a TechConnect Cloud (3C Media Solutions) account with login and viewing privileges without upload abilities.

I sent a request for access to upload videos and I did not receive a reply.


We normally reply to all requests, even if the upgrade request has been declined.

If you have sent in an upload request and didn't receive a reply, the email may have been filtered to a SPAM or junk filter and never reached your inbox.

In order to facilitate easier communications, please add support@ccctechconnect.org to your accepted sender list. You can also check your account to see if the feature has been added, even without the email reply.

If it has been several days since your original request and the feature has not been added or declined, please send in an additional request.

 

 


Help! I was attempting to register and I received error code: N008


This is an error that occurs when all the fields are not filled in. Please be sure all fields are filled in when attempting to register.


Qualify for a TechConnect Cloud (3C Media Solutions) account?


Members of the California Community Colleges system can request and receive a basic account that allows them to create playlists. Faculty and staff of the California Community Colleges system can request an upgraded account with additional functions.

Use the Search Function?


To search the TechConnect Cloud (3C Media Solutions) site, there's a search box and button labeled "Search". In the box, type in the keyword/s that you would like to search the site for and click on the "Search" button.
